Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is hiring a CNA/Direct Care Giver to provide quality care and assist residents with daily living activities at our McDonough, GA community. The role emphasizes encouraging independence, participating in activities, and maintaining a safe, respectful environment.

Responsibilities include documenting resident status, reporting concerns to the nursing team, assisting with meals and mobility, coordinating with staff, and participating in training and in‑service sessions.

Qualifications

• Must possess current CNA license issued by the state where the community is located and in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
• Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Must be a contributing member of the nursing team and follow supervisor instructions.
• Must be polite and considerate of residents, visitors, and co-workers at all times.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Report incidents involving residents and document appropriately.
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed by supervisor.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Follow confidentiality policies regarding release of resident information.
• Assist residents with move-in transitions and provide emotional support.
• Communicate status and upcoming information to appropriate staff and families.
