Job summary

Americare Senior Living in Chaffee, MO is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide hands-on resident care in our skilled nursing community. In this role, you'll assist with activities of daily living, monitor residents, and help maintain a warm, safe, homelike environment.

This full-time position offers Day and Night shifts, competitive pay with shift differentials, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Valid CNA certification in the state of employment.
• Previous experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with transfers, lifting, repositioning, and mobility as needed.
• Observe, document, and report changes in resident condition and care provided.
• Support restorative nursing and therapy activities as directed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and homelike environment for residents.
• Report accidents, incidents, or concerns involving residents, staff, or visitors.
• Work collaboratively with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and use of required safety equipment.
