Sweetwater Care in Davenport, IA seeks a compassionate Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care under the direction of charge nurses and administrators.

Responsibilities include patient rounds, verifying patient identity, assisting with activities of daily living, and maintaining safety and quality standards in resident care. Must hold a CNA license and have English proficiency, with a genuine desire to serve the ill and elderly.

Formación

• Must have a license as a certified nursing assistant.
• Minimum 6 months of experience as a CNA or clinical experience in training.
• Must possess a sincere desire to serve the ill, aged and infirm.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, families, visitors and staff.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm for residents at their current maturity level.
• Must be in good general health with emotional stability.
• Must relate to and care for ill, disabled, and emotionally upset residents.

Responsabilidades

• Perform duties as assigned in accordance with facility policies and nursing care procedures.
• Conduct resident rounds at shift start and every two hours to administer care.
• Verify resident identity before care or meals to ensure correct treatment.
• Report missing ID bands to admissions promptly.
• Make beds and clean bedside and overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean, filled, and within resident reach.
• Carry out additional duties as directed by nursing leadership.
