Good Samaritan is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting at De Smet, SD. The role requires CNA certification and supports daily living activities under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, transfers, vital signs, and documentation. The position may involve nights, weekends, and varied shifts with additional shift differentials and a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA certification with State Board approval.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Must be 16 or older and able to obtain CNA certification within four months.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and range-of-motion activities.
• Document resident interactions and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
