Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Successful completion of a state approved Nursing Assistant Certification course.
• Valid state CNA license and current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide and assist with physical care of patients including bathing, grooming, toileting and mobility.
• Document patient care and observations in real time.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the nurse in charge.
• Assist in dining, feeding residents, and meal handling as directed.
• Transport patients to therapies and participate in activity programs.
• Maintain infection control practices and a safe patient environment.
