Voyages Behavioral Health of Sugar Land is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support patient care under RN supervision. You will welcome new patients, collect admission information, monitor essential signs, assist with ADLs, and help with discharge planning in a fast-paced behavioral health setting.

The role emphasizes direct patient interaction, safety, and compliance with hospital policies. Required: state CNA certification, current BLS, crisis management certification per policy;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CNA certification required by state where hospital resides.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Crisis management certification per hospital policy and standards required.

Responsibilities

• Observe and record patient information pertinent to the treatment plan.
• Welcome new patients through admission protocols.
• Assist with patient discharge process and follow-up steps.
• Lead patient education, community, goal, and activity groups as directed.
• Take vital signs and help patients perform activities of daily living (ADL).
