Essentia Health in Graceville, MN is hiring a Nursing Assistant to provide direct care to skilled nursing facility residents. You will assist with personal hygiene, nutrition, and report changes to the shift nurse while maintaining a safe and clean environment for residents.

The role emphasizes preventing abuse, recognizing safety hazards, and responding to emergencies in a respectful, patient-centered manner. Work is full-time with Day/Eve rotation starting immediately.

Formación

• Current registration on applicable state nursing assistant registry or, if transitioning from the Nursing Assistant – Student position, then within 4 months of hire/transfer date.

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct care to skilled nursing facility residents and supports safety and comfort within the nursing assistant scope.
• Assists with personal hygiene and nutritional needs; notes changes in resident condition and reports to shift nurse.
• Maintains a safe, clean, neat environment and prevents abuse of vulnerable adults in care.
• Identifies safety hazards and initiates corrective actions.
