Job summary

Autumn Care of Norfolk in Norfolk, VA is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to provide direct care in a skilled nursing facility. You will support residents physically and emotionally, following established care plans and policies.

This FT position offers shifts 7:00a–7:00p with a wage of $21.00–$24.00 per hour and a $2,500 sign-on bonus for full-time. Generous benefits and PTO are included to support well-being and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current registry of certification to work as a Nursing Assistant in good standing within the applicable laws of the state where you work.
• High school diploma or GED or active enrollment in a high school program. GED guidance available.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe environment and attend to residents’ physical needs and comfort in a SNF setting.
• Offer emotional and social support and perform direct care as assigned per care plan and supervisor instructions.
• Follow health, sanitary and infection control policies and facility procedures.
