Job summary

Duet is seeking a CNA to provide personal care and assist with activities of daily living under the supervision of the Nursing Supervisor. The role includes implementing habilitative programs and supporting IPP team activities in a community/hospital setting.

The CNA must be able to work flexible hours including days, evenings, overnights, holidays and weekends, with a focus on safety and dignity for the individuals served.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Nebraska CNA certification with one year in a hospital or nursing home, or two years in human services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine specialized procedures as delegated by the RN.
• Provides and respects the privacy and confidentiality of the individuals served.
• Assists in the orientation of new staff.
• Maintains a professional appearance, behavior and environment.
• Performs all miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
