Job summary

Responsibilities include following care plans, assisting with personal care, preparing meals, transporting clients to appointments, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Certified Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide certification.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation required (valid driver's license & insurance).
• Nurturing and compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow care plans and report completed tasks.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing).
• Help with meals, laundry, and light house cleaning.
• Transport client to appointments and errands.
• Assist with self-administration of medications as directed.
• Observe and report changes in client health.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Maintain regular attendance and flexibility to meet department needs.
• Follow Medicare/Medicaid regulations and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
