Gurwin Healthcare System is seeking CNAs to join a comprehensive care team on a campus in Commack, NY. CNAs provide personal care and assist residents under the supervision of licensed nurses, with shifts including evenings and nights as described in the posting.

Qualifications

• Current certification in New York State Nurse Aide Registry (not expired).
• CPR certification preferred.
• One year long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living for residents under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Maintain resident living areas in a clean, orderly condition and assist with admissions/discharges.
• Answer call lights and assist with routine care and transfers as needed.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
