Job summary

Asante is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our compassionate care team in Medford, OR. The CNA will be responsible for patient care under RN supervision, contributing to the nursing process, and adhering to department policies and scope of practice.

The position emphasizes exceptional patient care, teamwork, and alignment with Asante's Vision and Values. The schedule is nights with a 0.6 FTE, part-time status, and a variable schedule.

Qualifications

• CNA certification from the Oregon State Board of Nursing is required on start.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required on start.

Responsibilities

• Be a vital member of the patient care team and build strong relationships with CNAs and RNs.
• Promote patient safety and comfort while actively participating in patient satisfaction.
• Demonstrate responsive observations knowledge in the practice of care.
• Document patient and family responses and effectiveness of teaching and interventions.
• Provide excellent communication between staff, patients and families.
• Promote and uphold Asante’s Vision and Values.
