Job summary

Patient First in Maryland is seeking a Medical Office Aide to support physicians and nurses with patient intake, triage, vital signs, phlebotomy, and care tasks. You will operate EMR systems, order labs, and help maintain a clean, efficient treatment area.

The role requires CNA certification, a high school diploma, typing experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; 1 year of clinical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum typing experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a hospital or physician’s office preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) by the Maryland Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Locate patients, obtain vital signs, triage, and prepare patients for exams.
• Use the electronic medical record system.
• Order labs, x-ray, and supplies as directed.
• Assist Nurses and Physicians with patient care.
• Handle physician and nurse requests promptly.
• Perform phlebotomy and lab duties as assigned.
• Sterilize and set up instruments.
• Restock treatment rooms and manage supplies.
