Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates medical asepsis by following established isolation standards and hand hygiene.
• Cleans and stores equipment to prevent spread of microorganisms.
• Assists RN with patient positioning to promote comfort and prevent skin breakdown.
• Maintains a clean environment in patient rooms (linen changes, tidy bedside tables).
• Assist patients with personal care needs (baths, oral care, nourishment).
• Obtains documents and reports vital signs, blood glucose monitoring, and height/weight at the point of care accurately and in a timely manner.
• Performs Hourly Rounding with use of AIDET/5Ps/Words that Work.
