Job summary
The Pines at Catskill Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation, affiliated with National Health Care Associates, seeks a dedicated Driver with NYS CNA certification to transport residents to appointments and activities. This full-time role, Monday to Friday with no weekends, offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and competitive pay in the USD hourly range.
Responsibilities include safe driving, assisting residents, and coordinating with staff to ensure timely, compassionate care for our aging guests.
Qualifications
- This position requires a valid NYS CNA certification.
- Current driver’s license with an excellent driving record is required.
- Experience in patient transportation is preferred.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport residents to medical appointments and outings according to schedule.
- Assist residents into and out of the vehicle and secure wheelchairs as needed.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic inspections.
- Keep records of trips and any incidents or delays.
- Communicate with residents, families, and staff to coordinate transportation needs.
