Job summary

Red Cliffs Post Acute in Grand Junction, CO, is hiring a CNA/Driver for a full-time role (5 days a week, 8am-4pm). You will provide direct resident care and transport residents to medical appointments and activities using facility-approved vehicles.

You must hold a CO CNA license with a valid DL, be 25+, and be familiar with GPS/local routes. Competitive benefits and a supportive team await in this community-focused facility.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered CNA license in CO.
• Must be at least 25 years old to drive the vehicle.
• Must have a valid driver's license (DL).
• Familiar with GPS and local driving area.
• No traffic crimes in the last 7 years (DUI, DWS, reckless driving).
• No traffic felonies (multiple DUI, leaving scene with injuries).
• Not more than 2 moving violations in 3 years.
• Not more than one accident in 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents under the direction of licensed nurses.
• Drive residents to appointments and activities.
• Assist residents with loading and unloading from facility-approved vehicles.
• Transfer residents safely and ensure secure seating in vans.
• Maintain vehicle interior/exterior and monitor maintenance logs.
• Scan documents and help with central supply as needed.

Red Cliffs Post Acute is hiring a CNA/Driver!

Shifts: Full-Time 5 days a week 8am-4pm

We are looking to expand our team to allow for the highest level of care for our residents. You would be joining a team of professionals committed to improving the lives of those they serve and those they work with.

What to expect:

Provide direct care to the residents of the facility under the direction of licensed nurses

As the driver:

You will drive residents to appointments and activities:

Assists residents with loading and unloading from facility-approved vehicles.

Ensures the safe transportation of residents to scheduled medical appointments or other approved activities, resident outings, etc.

Maintains the interior and exterior of facility vehicles to promote a safe and comfortable transport for the residents and project a positive image in the community.

Monitors vehicle maintenance logs and delivers vehicle for regularly scheduled maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, etc.

Must be flexible with work time (in the event a resident appointment or activity runs late).

Must have training and be able to return demonstrate safe clinical based transfer techniques for:

Ingress Egress of Mobile Patients with Van

Transfer of patients into and out of Wheelchair

Properly securing WC bound residents into bays in Vans.

Must be able to lift transfer and mobilize patient weights of up to 70 pounds by self in confined areas inside van.

Must be able to make complex decisions involving highly dependent patient base.

Also will help with Scanning documents and central supply

Successful Candidates:
