Job summary

Emerald Care Center Tulsa is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our 24-hour skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Tulsa, OK. You will play a vital role in providing high-quality care, ensuring residents’ comfort, safety, and well-being, with a schedule that includes double weekends and Baylor pay.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, mobility support, vital signs, accurate documentation, and collaboration with nurses and physicians

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to lift and move residents and perform physical tasks.
• Current CNA certification in Oklahoma required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Help residents with mobility issues, including transferring, positioning, and ambulating safely.
• Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
• Accurately document all care provided, changes in residents’ conditions, and any other pertinent information in electronic health records.
• Report any changes in residents’ conditions or concerns to the nursing staff or supervisor in a timely manner.
• Assist with feeding, preparing meals, and providing companionship to enhance residents’ quality of life.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and physicians, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.
