Pinellas Park Post-Acute and Rehab is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct care to residents under supervision, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity.

You will take vital signs, assist with mobility, document care, and participate in shift reports. CNA certification in the state is required; CPR preferred; long‑term care experience is a plus.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Valid and active CNA certification in the state of employment (required).
• CPR certification (preferred).
• Experience in long‑term care or skilled nursing is a plus.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Provide hands‑on care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Assist with mobility, positioning, and transfers using proper body mechanics.
• Take and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Observe and report changes to licensed staff promptly.
• Assist residents with meals and ensure proper nutrition.
• Maintain clean and sanitary resident rooms and common areas.
• Respond to resident call lights and needs promptly.
• Encourage participation in activities and promote independence.
• Document care provided according to facility policies.
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines and resident rights.
• Participate in shift reports and staff meetings.
