Job summary

Kindred Hospital Riverside in Perris, CA is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support licensed nurses in providing patient care in an acute/long-term setting. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor patients, and help maintain a safe and comfortable environment under RN supervision.

Qualified candidates will hold a current Nursing Assistant Certification and BLS, have a High School diploma or equivalent, and at least six months of prior care experience.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Take and record temperature, pulse, respiration, weight and vital signs.
• Assist in patient admission, transfer and discharge procedures.
• Provide general nursing care: positioning, turning, bed/bath care and feeding support.
• Respond to patient call lights and paging system promptly.
• Assist RN/LVN/LPN with routine and basic treatment procedures.
