Novant Health is seeking a Part Time Day shift Certified Nursing Assistant for Med/Surg 4 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. You will deliver patient‑centered care and support daily activities under the supervision of registered nurses.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Completion of NAI program required.
Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I required.
Medication Safety - AME required.
NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions within 3 months of hire (Emergency Depts & Behavioral Health).

Responsibilities

Deliver patient‑centered care, assist daily activities, and promote comfort and dignity.
Support nurses and providers with observations and care plans.
Assist with ambulation, repositioning, and fall prevention.
Document vitals and patient status accurately for team decisions.
Foster a calm, supportive environment for patients and families.
Provide assistance with activities of daily living under RN supervision.
Assist Living units: report changes in status to Charge Nurse.
