Job summary

Victorian Village, a Skilled Nursing Community in Homer Glen, IL, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a full-time day shift. The facility is part of the Providence Life Services family, committed to enhancing residents' lives. Day shift hours are 6:30AM - 2:30PM with required availability every other weekend.

Training is provided; must be a CNA in Illinois. Prior long-term care experience is a plus, and candidates will undergo a physical, drug screen, lift test, and background

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Illinois.
• No previous experience is necessary, although it is rewarded, as we will train you for the position and in the skills you will need.
• Must pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprint for criminal background and successfully complete the orientation program.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with dressing, bathing, toileting, walking and transferring.
• Remind residents about medications and maintain medication reminders as needed.
• Make beds, respond to call lights, and document care provided.
• No prior experience is required; training is provided to new CNAs.
