Valley Nursing Healthcare LLC in Taylorsville, NC is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate, team‑oriented skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. The position is full‑time with day shift hours, supporting residents with dignity and quality of life.

As a CNA, you will provide direct resident care, assist with daily activities, monitor conditions, document care, and uphold infection control standards. CPR/BLS is preferred; NC CNA certification required.

Qualifications

• Current and active CNA certification in NC.
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality care

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating
• Provide mobility assistance and safely transfer residents using gait belts and mechanical lifts as needed
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing team
• Obtain and document vital signs accurately
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers
• Document care provided in accordance with facility policies and procedures
• Follow infection control guidelines and safety standards at all times
• Support residents with compassion, dignity, and respect
