Job summary

Lewiston of Cascadia, LLC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide basic nursing assistance and aid residents with daily living activities in a full-time position in Lewiston, Idaho.

Under supervision, you will participate in resident care, follow facility policies, and support communication with residents, families, and staff. A CNA certification for the state and a CPR certificate are preferred, with background checks required prior to contact with residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid CNA certification in the state of employment.
• CPR certificate preferred.
• Six months experience in a long-term care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers nurse call system to determine resident needs.
• Assists residents with dressing, grooming, oral care, bathing, hair, and incontinence care.
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with eating.
• Assists residents with ROM exercises and movement to/from wheelchair.
• Assists resident with turning, positioning in bed, and ambulation as directed.
