Job summary

Vibra Hospital of Northern California in Redding, CA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a full-time Day Shift (12-hour shifts). A $2,000 bonus is offered for full-time employment. Responsibilities include assisting licensed nurses with daily living activities, maintaining a safe patient environment, and recognizing emergencies.

Requires CNA certification and BLS within six months. Two years of experience preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Nurse Aide or other relevant experience in lieu of education will be considered.
• Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Nursing Assistant as applicable in the state of employment required.
• BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor is required within six months of date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to licensed nursing personnel in the provision of patient care by providing and documenting activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and grooming, and providing a clean, healthy and safe environment.
• Utilizes basic infection control procedures, basic nutrition and fluid intake skills.
• Recognizes emergency situations and responds.
