Qualifications

• Florida CNA license required or active in good standing.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• One year experience in acute care, long term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred.
• Corrections experience not required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• The CNA provides direct patient care under supervision of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff.
• Assist residents with personal hygiene, daily living needs and monitoring of vital signs.

Education

High School Diploma/GED

Florida CNA license

Phlebotomy certification
