Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Desoto Annex team in Arcadia, FL. The CNA will work under nursing, medical, and psychiatric staff to deliver direct patient care to incarcerated individuals on a day shift (M-F, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.).

Responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene, daily living activities and vitals, with a focus on safety and respectful, compassionate care in a correctional setting.

Qualifications

• Florida CNA license required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• At least 1 year of experience in acute care, long term care, emergency, or correctional settings preferred.
• Corrections experience not required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance, including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assisting patients by supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs and vital sign monitoring.
• Other direct patient care tasks as directed by nursing and medical staff.

We are currently seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Desoto Annex & Correctional Institution located in Arcadia, Florida. The CNA works under the close direction of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. Responsibilities include assisting patients by supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs and vital sign monitoring. 40 hour - day shift, M-F 8-4:30.
