Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate, personalized care for residents in our community. The role requires a current CNA license and a high school diploma or GED, with preference for prior healthcare or geriatric experience.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, reviewing care plans, taking vital signs, and ensuring resident safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Current CNA license required by state law.
• Experience with elderly population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide 1440 care.
• Review Resident Care Plans at start of shift.
• Bathe and clean residents as needed.
• Assist in personal care including teeth, hair, nails, makeup, shaving, glasses.
• Assist residents in dressing, encourage appropriate attire.
• Make beds, change linens, tidy rooms.
• Feed residents needing assistance and set up trays.
• Respond to calls promptly and keep lights accessible.
• Assist with bedpan, urinal, and bedside commode as needed.
• Record vital signs, heights, weights, and report abnormal findings to nurse.
• Monitor intake/output and assist with specimen collection.
• Pass water and retrieve water pitchers per schedule.
• Clean wheelchairs, walkers, and other equipment.
• Report changes in resident condition promptly to nurse.
• Assist in transfers, ambulation, and positioning with safety.
• Maintain resident dignity and privacy per rights.
