Job summary

Buckner Retirement Services is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide at The Stayton at Museum Way, Fort Worth, TX. This full-time onsite role supports residents with comprehensive care and daily living activities in a faith-based, not-for-profit senior living community.

Responsibilities include rounds, care plan implementation, ADL support, hygiene, mobility assistance, and maintaining safety standards. Requires relevant certification and physical ability to perform tasks across shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Nursing aide certificate and CPR certification required by Buckner and governing authorities.
• Ability to move objects/people using up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and 50 pounds frequently.
• Physical tasks include bending, stooping, twisting, turning, reaching, lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing, climbing, kneeling, walking and standing over 75% of shift.

Responsibilities

• Make frequent resident rounds to check comfort, safety and cleanliness.
• Maintain compliance with Buckner policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with implementation of prescribed health care plans.
• Provide care in activities including bathing, feeding, oral care, intake, dressing, hair/nails, mobility and responding to calls.
• Perform cleaning/sanitary tasks including urinals, bedpans, showers and equipment.
• Document ADLs, intakes/outputs accurately on charts.
• Wake residents, assist with morning grooming and dining room seating.
• Change linens and distribute towels during shift.
