Job summary

Goldwater Care Princeton is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate resident care in a long-term care setting. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor residents’ health, and respond to calls while maintaining privacy and dignity.

Qualifications

• Must hold current CNA certification in the state of practice.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Long term care experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with serving meals and feeding; provide fresh water and nourishment.
• Assist in personal hygiene (bedpans, baths, showers, backrubs, shampoos, shaves).
• Assist with ambulating, turning, and positioning residents.
• Monitor vitals and weight; document intake/output.
• Respond to call lights; report observations to nursing supervisor.
• Document actions by completing forms, logs and records.
• Protect privacy and confidentiality per HIPAA and related laws.
• Adhere to professional standards, policies and regulatory requirements.
• Pursue ongoing education; maintain licensure; participate in professional organizations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
