Job summary

Riverside Healthcare Center is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care under licensed supervision. Duties include personal care, hydration, feeding assistance, and reporting changes in resident condition with a focus on comfort and dignity.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant Certification from state.
• CPR Certification.
• High School Graduate or GED.
• Strong communication skills with empathy and patience.
• Ability to follow care plans and document observations accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care of residents daily and as needed.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using assistive devices and proper body mechanics.
• Record vital signs, weights, intake and output, and food consumption.
• Observe residents and report changes to the Charge Nurse.
• Assist in collecting data for MDS and care plan development.
• Ensure residents are hydrated and assist with meals as required.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility records and adhere to policies.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff and participate in in-service education.
