Job summary

De-Luna Health and Rehabilitation Center in Pensacola is seeking a compassionate CNA to join our skilled nursing team. You will assist residents with activities of daily living under the supervision of a nurse, delivering dignified, attentive care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, feeding assistance, mobility support, documenting intake and vitals, and ensuring resident rights and safety. Weekend and overtime availability are required to meet resident needs.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Completion of high school education or ability to read, write, and follow directions.
Must be certified in Florida or have completed CNA training and obtain certification within 4 months.
Must maintain regular attendance and be able to work weekends and overtime.
Must pass a Level II Background Check and health requirements.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care to residents (bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, nail care) and ensure call bells are reachable.
Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
Assist with meals, transport to dining, and document intake after consumption.
Distribute and manage bedpans/urinals; assist with bathroom needs and hygiene.
Observe residents for changes, report to supervisor, and document vitals as needed.
