Job summary

Moraga Post Acute in Chehalem, OR is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care under supervision, following each resident’s assessment and care plan. You will identify residents, assist with daily tasks, monitor conditions, and maintain a calm, respectful environment.

You will record observations accurately, report changes to the Nurse Supervisor, and cooperate with other staff to ensure quality resident care and safety.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with state laws.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before treatments or meals using wristbands or photo IDs.
• Record entries clearly on flow sheets and charts.
• Report changes in residents' condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.
• Assist residents with daily activities and mobility as trained.
• Prepare rooms, greet residents, and escort them to appropriate areas.
• Assist with feeding, bathing, and personal care as directed by care plans.
