Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have completed a nurse aide program and obtained certification.

Responsibilities

• Aid residents with care as required and document care in EMR.
• Monitor vital signs and weights; report changes to charge nurse.
• Ensure resident safety, proper use of alarms, bed positioning, and transfers.
• Assist with rounds every two hours; respond to call lights with care and courtesy.
• Monitor diet, hydration, intake/output; assist with feeding as needed.
• Turn residents to prevent skin breakdown and monitor for skin issues.
• Perform cleaning, stocking, and maintain neat resident areas as needed.
• May be assigned to any unit due to staffing needs; participate in emergency drills.
