Job summary

Far Rockaway Center, part of Centers Health Care, is hiring Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) in Far Rockaway, NY. The facility is a 100-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing center committed to resident dignity and independence.

We now offer Daily Pay through a trusted third‑party provider, with faster access to earnings. You must complete a CNA program, hold current CNA certification, and be in good standing with the State Registry; weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a CNA program.
• Current CNA State Certification.
• Must be in good standing with State Registry.
• Must be able to work as a team member.
• Must be able to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Observe Residents and report health issues to the supervising nurse.
• Assist with personal hygiene, bed baths, shaving.
• Set up meal trays and document intake.
• Feed Residents and provide nutritional supplements.
• Make beds and keep Residents’ space clean and tidy.
• Transport Residents within the facility.
• Turn bedridden Residents to prevent bedsores.
• Maintain confidentiality of all Resident data.
