Job summary

Covenant Living in California is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care in assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care settings. You will work under the nurse manager, assist with daily living activities, dining, and light housekeeping, while ensuring safety and dignity of residents.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, completion of an approved Nursing Assistant program, and is listed on the state's Nursing Assistant Registry.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• Completion and passing the test for an approved Nursing Assistant program in the State.
• Listed on the State’s Health Nursing Assistant Registry.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents on a daily basis.
• Assist with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services.
• Support resident bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and transfers as assigned.
• Maintain clean and orderly resident rooms and assist with linen changes.
• Assist with meal preparation and serving; help with feeding when needed.
