Job summary

Windsor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Alice in Alice, TX is seeking a Nurse Aide (PRN) to provide routine daily nursing care to residents per assessments and care plans. The role offers flexible hours and opportunities to contribute to resident well-being.

The position requires a valid CNA license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and prior long-term care experience is preferred; candidates must be at least 16 years old and ready to assist with daily activities and to report changes

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Must hold valid Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license.
• Experience in a long-term care facility preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with resident assessments and care plans.
• Assist residents with daily requirements and tasks such as bathing, feeding, dressing, observing intake of food, caring for hair and nails, moving residents from area to area, and responding to calls.
• Carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance with resident care policy and procedure.
• Measure and record vital signs as assigned by Charge Nurse.
• Detect and report situations that may cause resident accidents or injuries.
• Contribute knowledge of resident’s conditions/needs to resident care plans.
• Observe and report symptoms, reactions, and changes of conditions to residents and Charge Nurse.
