Job summary

CommonSpirit Health’s Community Hospital of San Bernardino is hiring a Nursing Assistant Aide to support patients with daily living activities, assist nursing staff with vitals, and help prepare rooms for care. You will be part of a compassionate team dedicated to patient comfort and safety.

The role requires completion of a California State Approved Nursing Assistant program and CPR/BLS certification, with a strong focus on timely communication and meticulous care.

Qualifications

• California CNA certification required
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required
• Passion for patient care and comfort

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal hygiene, mobility and feeding.
• Monitor vitals and report changes to nursing staff.
• Prepare patient rooms and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Reposition immobile patients at least every two hours and provide continence care.
• Respond promptly to call lights, alarms and patient requests.
• Assist with documentation and follow-up on shift tasks to ensure continuity of care.
