Job summary

FMOL Health seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide essential patient care and comfort under supervision. You will support daily living activities, monitor vitals, and help prepare rooms and meals to ensure patient well-being.

Collaborating with Registered Nurses and other staff, you will transport patients, document observations in CIS, and participate in maintaining a safe, compassionate hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Special Skills: Communication and Customer Service Skills.
• Licensure and Certifications: Certified Nursing Assistant Required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in preparing unit and patient room and bed for hospital stay.
• Takes and records patient temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, blood pressure, and intake-output; documents in CIS.
• Assists patients with daily living activities (e.g., bed bath, oral hygiene, shaving, dressing, back rubs, linen freshening).
• Prepares patients for meals, serves food, and feeds patients when needed.
• Transports patients to and from designated areas of the hospital; verifies identification bracelets.
• Retrieves medications from pneumatic tube system and delivers to nurse or stores securely.
• Provides input for end of shift reports and CIS documentation.
• Assists physicians with examination, treatments, and special tests as directed by a Registered Nurse; collects specimens.
• Runs inter-departmental errands for nursing personnel.
• Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
