Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing unit and patient room and bed for hospital stay.
• Take and record vital signs and monitor patient condition.
• Provide daily living assistance and patient comfort (hygiene, mobility, dressing).
• Prepare meals, serve food, and feed patients when needed.
• Transport patients between hospital areas in a safe and compassionate manner.
• Deliver medications to the nurse or place them in a secure location.
• Answer patient call lights and assist with personal hygiene and daily activities.
• Assist physicians with examinations, treatments, and procedures under RN supervision.
• Run inter-departmental errands for nursing staff as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
