Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• Previous hospital or nursing home experience preferred.
• Current RI Nursing Assistant License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• CPI training within 1 year of employment
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in direct patient care under the supervision of licensed personnel.
• Safely transport patients via wheelchair or stretcher.
• Perform receptionist and clerical duties to facilitate unit operations.
• Document services accurately and timely.
• Support observers for patients requiring constant observation when assigned.
