Job summary

Park Manor Tomball is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide compassionate direct care to patients in a clinical setting. The CNA will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, help with mobility, and support nutrition and hydration while maintaining infection control standards.

The role requires completion of an accredited CNA program and current CNA certification, with strong communication skills to collaborate with nursing teams.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Certified Nurse Assistant training program.
• Valid CNA certification/license as required by state or local authority.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and patient care techniques.
• Ability to pass background checks and health screenings including immunizations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Support patients with mobility needs, including transferring, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Provide nutritional support by assisting with feeding and ensuring patients receive proper hydration.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients by following infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding patient status, concerns, and changes in condition.
• Assist with basic medical procedures under the supervision of registered nurses or licensed practical nurses.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely in compliance with healthcare regulations.
