Job summary

Pavilion of Ottawa is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide support for patient care and daily living activities. The role involves a collaborative effort with nursing staff and requires a State Certified Nursing Assistant License and a High School Diploma.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• State Certified Nursing Assistant License is required.
• Current CPR certification preferred within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with nursing staff to assist with patient care.
• Provide physical support to patients with daily activities.
• Measure and record vital signs and note changes in patient conditions.

Skills

Good collaboration and teamwork skills with the nursing staff

Familiarity with symptoms and signs of improvement for medical conditions

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English

Ability to relate positively with residents and staff

Demonstrates basic computer knowledge

Education

High School Diploma or GED

State Certified Nursing Assistant License/Certification

Current CPR certificate
