Job summary

Coal County Extended Care is seeking a Nurse Aide to assist residents with activities of daily living under the supervision of the charge nurse. The role requires the ability to perform duties delegated by licensed staff while maintaining safety and infection control standards.

The CNA must provide care based on identified resident needs, document accurately, and respond to call lights in a timely manner. The position emphasizes rounds every two hours and adherence to Oklahoma state regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA Certification.
• Ability to perform activities of daily living for residents.
• Proficiency in infection control procedures and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including meals, feeding, ambulation, turning and positioning.
• Provide fresh water and nourishment between meals and attend to personal needs.
• Document care and report changes to licensed staff in a timely manner.
• Respond to call lights promptly and ensure resident safety.
• Serve as a preceptor and assist in orientation of new personnel.
• Follow infection control procedures and adhere to schedules for each resident.
