Qualifications

• State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification in Ohio, or eligibility to work as a CNA
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is preferred
• Compassionate, patient approach with dependable attendance and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation
• Provide assistance and encouragement during meals
• Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident needs with patience and compassion
• Take and record vital signs, weights, and other information as directed by the nursing team
• Observe residents for changes in condition and communicate concerns to the nurse
• Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment
• Follow resident care plans and established safety procedures
• Provide companionship and meaningful interaction throughout the day
• Protect resident dignity, privacy, and independence
• Work closely with nurses and fellow CNAs to provide high-quality care
• Support teammates and contribute to a positive work environment
