Job summary

Park Manor Humble in Humble, TX is seeking a CNA to join our dedicated care team. You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse, providing routine patient care and data collection to support the overall care plan.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, documenting care, and communicating changes to the nursing staff. Prior CNA experience and a commitment to resident well-being are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; must be a CNA in good standing.
• 1 year of CNA experience; long-term care preferred.
• Ability to stand long periods and lift up to 100 pounds.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and nurse aide techniques.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance in activities of daily living and nutrition as needed.
• Collect patient data including vital signs per policy.
• Document objective data and routine care.
• Report abnormalities to the licensed nurse.
• Promote continuity of care by communicating to other caregivers the patient status.
• Perform procedures and use equipment under supervision of a licensed professional.
• Provide supplies and support to staff and patients for unit procedures.
