Serenity Estates of Lena, IL, is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our care team. CNAs provide resident-centered care, help with daily living activities, and support dignity, comfort, and independence for seniors in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois CNA certification in good standing.
• Effective communication with residents, families, and team members.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Long-term care experience preferred but not required.
• Must pass a background check and any pre-employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care under supervision of licensed staff.
• Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
• Measure and record vitals as directed.
• Observe and report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with meal service and monitor intake.
• Document care per facility policies.
• Follow infection prevention procedures.
• Transport residents to appointments and activities.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other health professionals.
• Promote resident safety and dignity.
