Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum one year working with the geriatric population.
• Certified nursing aide licensure required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Follow all care plan directives, administer direct patient care and assist residents with daily living activities.
• Initiate resident needs, assessment, and safety by observing and reporting changes to the nurse.
• Coordinate with nursing team to record vital signs and maintain ADL records.
• Administer standard precautions and infection control standards for a clean, safe environment.
• Promptly answer call lights and assess resident needs to ensure needs are met.
