Job summary

Heritage at Brandon Place in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking compassionate Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility team. CNAs provide direct patient care and assist residents with daily living activities, promoting comfort, dignity, and quality of life for elderly and medically complex residents.

The role requires CNA certification, the ability to lift and transfer residents, and strong communication and teamwork to support high-quality care in a caregiving environment.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in the state.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents as needed.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and repositioning to prevent pressure injuries.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to the licensed nurse.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
• Support residents with meals, hydration, and nutritional needs.
• Provide emotional support and maintain a respectful and compassionate environment.
• Ensure residents’ rooms and common areas remain clean, safe, and organized.
• Follow infection control policies and safety procedures.
• Assist nursing staff with other duties as assigned.
