Job summary

Rocky Mountain Care - The Lodge in Heber City, UT is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants to join a 92-bed skilled nursing facility providing short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. We offer tuition assistance after 6 months for full-time employees and mileage reimbursement for eligible staff.

Responsibilities include compassionate resident care, responding to call lights, aiding with daily activities, and communicating changes to the nursing team.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state (preferred, not required).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Current Food Handler's Permit.
• Must have no disciplinary action in effect against certification.
• At least one year of experience as a CNA in long-term care (preferred, not required).

Responsibilities

• Provide kind and compassionate care to residents.
• Answer residents' call lights to determine needs.
• Turn and reposition residents in bed.
• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, eating, dressing, toileting, mobility).
• Review dietary restrictions, allergies and preferences for appropriate diets.
• Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary.
• Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
