Job summary

IVYPARK in Pittsburgh is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care to residents as outlined in assessments and care plans. You will identify residents, assist with daily activities, and maintain clean, safe environments in collaboration with the nursing team.

Responsibilities include monitoring residents, reporting changes to the Nurse Supervisor, recording care data, and protecting resident privacy.

Qualifications

• Must possess, at minimum, a high school education (10th grade mentioned).
• Must hold a state CNA license.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general instructions.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments using wristband or photo card.
• Record entries on flow sheets and charts accurately.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information.
• Assist with daily resident activities and prepare rooms for new admissions.
• Follow safety and infection control policies at all times.
• Transport residents between rooms and to activities as needed.
